
On April 21, we will begin PSSA testing.
Please carefully review this PSSA LETTER that contains important information about the upcoming PSSA and Keystone exams.
Additional Reminders for Students on PSSA/Keystone Testing Days:
All cell phones and electronic devices must be stored in lockers or turned off and left in front of the testing room (including smartwatches). (Glucose monitoring devices allowed with pre-approval through the nurse).
Students should bring a fully charged Chromebook each day, along with headphones/ earbuds and a charger.
No food permitted in the testing room
Water in a bottle with a lid is permitted on the floor under/beside your desk (no juice, soda, coffee, tea, or other beverages).
Bring a book to read when you finish.
Bring at least two sharpened #2 pencils with good erasers.
Bring some tissues if you have a cold.
Get a good night’s sleep and eat a healthy breakfast!

🧪 A FORMULA TO VICTORY: On Saturday, April 26, our Science Olympiad teams competed at the PA State Tournament at Penn State Altoona—and brought home some amazing results!
CVHS placed 2nd out of 36 teams, earning a trip to Nationals at the University of Nebraska on May 24! This is CV’s 3rd national qualification in 4 years!
EV placed 3rd out of 36 and took home 1st place in FIVE events—a new school record! MV delivered a strong showing as well, finishing 8th overall.
All 47 CV students earned medals in their events—proof of their hard work, talent, and teamwork. We’re beyond #CVProud! 🙌

Cultural Appreciation Night is Thursday, April 10th from 5-8pm at Mountain View. Join us for live performances, food trucks, free basket raffle, and hosts of 25 different cultures/countries. This is a free family event open to the entire community. The first 400 students receive a passport booklet to collect stamps!

Congratulations to the Mountain View students and families for their recent efforts with our annual Food Drive. Organized by our Student Council, our school donated or 6000 lbs of food items to help local families this holiday season.
